January 18, 1996 -- LOGIC AUDIO 2.5 for Windows '95 brings the latest version of EMAGIC's superior music production software to the world of Windows. The Windows '95 version includes the same set of powerful features as the Macintosh 2.5 version such as virtually unlimited tracks, 960 ppq sequencer resolution, fully integrated scoring and printing in WYSIWYG DTP quality, fully integrated digital audio recording, a fast disk based stereo sample editor and the unprecedented power of EMAGIC's suite of audio DSP functions known as the Digital Factory(TM).

LOGIC AUDIO 2.5 for Windows is optimised for Windows '95 (e.g. Iong filenames) and incorporates Video for Windows support. It is expected to set the new standard for Windows digital audio development, much as the product's sibling has done on the Macintosh. The program will include Multimedia Driver support for a wide range of 16 bit soundcards as standard. Additional audio hardware support will be available with the Windows line of LOGIC Extensions such as the DAK Extension, CBX Extension and Soundscape Extension.

LOGIC AUDIO 2.5 for Windows will be available as a complete package only with a single security key. There will be no separate Audio Module; existing users of LOGIC Windows can upgrade their program via their national EMAGIC distributor.

Logic DAE Extension for Logic Audio 2.5

The LOGIC DAE Extension for Windows '95 was developed to allow the simultaneous use of Digidesign's audio hardware such as Session 8 and the new Audiomedia III PCI card along with 16 bit soundcards that support the standard Multimedia Driver. With the DAE Extension, users can, for the first time, customize their Windows based digital audio recording hardware according to their individual needs. This groundbreaking development is a result of the ongoing close relationship between the software engineering teams at EMAGIC and Digidesign.

Logic CBX Extension for Logic Audio 2.5

EMAGIC, the European based software developer has announced the LOGIC CBX Extension for Windows'95. The Logic CBX Extension for Windows '95 will allow the simultaneous use of Yamaha's CBX-D3 and D5 Digital Recording Processors along with 16 bit soundcards that support the standard Multimedia Driver. The CBX DSP functions can also be controlled and automated from within LOGIC AUDIO 2.5, providing more options for integrated multihardware operation on the Windows platform.

SoundDiver(TM) 1.5 for Windows 95(TM)

Based on the award winning editor/librarian for the Macintosh, SoundDiver for Windows 95 will bring affordable, professional Synthesizer sound management to the world of Windows. Including the ability to edit and organize sounds with over 250 different editors and the ability to fully integrate with LOGIC and LOGIC AUDIO for Windows. SoundDiver is expected to set the new standard for Windows synthesizer management, much as the product's sibling has done on the Macintosh.

MicroLogic 2.0 for Windows '95

MicroLOGIC 2.0 for Windows '95 enhances Emagic's successful Windows entry level sequencing and notation program. The new version is optimised for Windows '95 (e.g. long filenames) with the addition of an integrated Waveplayer. Many of the same features as its big sibling LOGIC can also be found, such as 960 ppq resolution and almost unlimited staves. Add the nondestructive realtime quantization, a GM Mixer, Score (with Iyrics), Event List and Matrix Editor, and you get musical power way beyond what you'd expect for the price.

MicroLOGIC 2.0 for Windows '95 is also available as an upgrade for existing MicroLOGIC 1.6 users, who should contact their national EMAGIC distributor for pricing.
