Ampeg Reissues the V-4BH Tube Bass Amp

January 18, 1996 -- The tone, the feel and the warmth that comprises the Ampeg signature tone has been lives in the updated reissue of the legendary V4B head. 100 watts of all tube power is generated by four 6L6s and a 12AU7 driver. The tone of the power amp section is variable with a rear panel mounted presence button. Each tube is fused individually for protection against shorts ensuring durable, worry-free operation. The all tube preamp (with three 12AX7s) features an input Gain control, Bass and Treble flanking a Midrange control with a five position Mid Frequency selector switch and a Master Volume. Ultra Low and High tone boost buttons are also standard.

The rear panel features a balanced XLR line out which is post master volume, a pre-master preamp out/power amp in effects loop, and a 1/4" slave output jack. Output impedance is 8 or 4 ohms selectable.

Ampeg Reissues the Reverberocket Guitar Combo

It was one of the most revered amplifiers of the 1960s. It's size, it's looks, and it's sound made the Ampeg Reverberocket distinctive and highly sought after. The updated Reverberocket series is ready to launch into a new era. The Reverberocket, in either a single 12" or twin 12" configuration, captures the romance and flavor of the original but is more versatile and stageable than ever, with two EL34s firing 50 watts of power. In the clean mode, the Reverberocket features a Volume, and three bands of EQ giving the user a range of sounds from a sparkling clean with plenty of headroom to bluesy power amp distortion. In the lead mode, the Volume control is replaced with a Gain and Master, and offers seemingly limitless sustain. An effects loop and footswitch jack (controlling the reverb) round out the package.
