Morley Diamond Distortion

January 18, 1996 -- Morley, makers of pedals and switches for guitar, bass and keyboard players, has debuted a new distortion effects box, called the "Diamond Distortion". It is the first in a line of four effect boxes Morley will debut in 1996.

Housed in a sturdy metal box, the Diamond Distortion has a gritty, biting attack that's perfect for lead or rhythm Its tube-like sound makes it ideal for any player looking for that classic overdriven sound.

More importantly, Morley's distortion box is easy to use--simply dial in the amount of distortion desired (using drive, tone and level controls) and step on the Carling switch for easy, precise use. And because we use analog technology, the Diamond Distortion yields a richer, warmer and more natural sound than many other distortion effects.

The Diamond Distortion uses a 9-volt battery or a Morley adapter, which makes it inexpensive and easy to use. As with all Morley products, this one comes with a two-year warranty. Suggested retail price is $115.
