Hartke Kickback Combo

January 18, 1996 -- New from Hartke systems, the versatile "Kickback" bass combo amp features a revolutionary "two-way" (upright for performance and tilted back for monitoring applications) ported bass reflex cabinet design.

The Kickback is equipped with a powerful amp that produces 120 watts into 8 ohms and either a custom 12" Hartke aluminum-cone driver or custom Hartke 12" paper-cone driver.

This remarkable combo features unique "Shape" contour filtering circuitry that activates a carefully plotted EQ curve to enhance the overall sound. This can be fine-tuned between 100 Hz and 1 kHz to suit individual tastes and playing styles.

Additional sound-shaping is provided by a precise 3-band EQ with + 15 dB of boost and cut at 100 Hz, 300 Hz and 1 kHz. Other features includes a balanced XLR direct output (pre EQ and Volume); a separate headphone output that mutes the speaker; an active 1/4" input that accommodates a wide range of active and passive pickups without overloading and an effects send & return circuit.
