Peavey Axcelerator® 2-T Bass

Axcelerator Image

January 18, 1996 -- The new Axcelerator® 2-T bass, introduced by Peavey Electronics, is an exciting re-think of the bass that Bass Player Magazine recently referred to as "our favorite bass under $1000". Add to that the 2-TEK bass bridge, which they called "the most revolutionary component to come along since the invention of the high-tech replacement pickups," and you've got double the excitement.

The body of the Axcelerator 2-T is made from light-weight poplar. The 21-fret rosewood fingerboard sits atop a one piece maple neck with a comfortable profile. The two advanced VFL technology humbucking active pickups provide incredible punch and depth for strong, powerful tone. Active bass and treble shelving controls make dialing in a solid sound simple.
