Roland SN-700 Noise/Hum EliminatorJanuary 18, 1996 -- Roland is pleased to debut their latest professional audio noise reduction unit, the SN-700 Noise/Hum Eliminator. This single-ended, realtime noise eliminator is perfect for everything from music production to broadcasting to live sound and beyond. The SN-700 is a stereo noise eliminator designed to identify and isolate troublesome frequencies and noise sources in a variety of applications. The SN-700 easily removes 60 cycle hum, dimmer buzz, fluorescent lighting and ground loop noise and more. With simple "Threshold," "Release" and "Frequency" settings you can easily dial out annoying noises and hums. The special "Auto" function will even set these parameters automatically for unparalleled ease. Roland's unique Width parameter can also silence virtually any type of hum. Both D/A and A/D conversions are 20-bit. All functions can be controlled via MIDI and the parameters can be edited and saved into one of the 16 program locations. This sophisticated digital signal processor is ideal for virtually any situation where the engineer requires the cleanest possible sound.
