Roland BluesCubes

January 18, 1996 -- Following the success of last year's BC-60 and BC-30 BluesCubes, Roland is very excited to offer two new BluesCube configurations. The newest amps from Roland are the BC-60/310 BluesCube and the BC-30/210 BluesCube. These combos feature the same amplifier sections as the BC-60 and BC-30, respectively. The twist is in the speaker configurations. Where both of the earlier BluesCubes come with 12" speakers, the BC-30/210 sports a pair of 10" speakers and the BC-60/310 features three 10" speakers. These new models offer yet another way to harness everything from the beautiful vintage amplifier sounds of the past to the powerful hot-rod sounds of today.

Both the BC-60/310 and the BC-30/210 offer two separate channels and channel switching capabilities. You can switch from rhythm to lead, from crunch to clean, all at the touch of a footswitch. With three-band tone control, volume and master volumes, you can custom create the exact sound you desire. With the BC-60/310 you can even add authentic spring reverb, using the built-in Acutronics three-spring reverb tank, just like the vintage American reverb amps.

Roland has also developed two brand new technologies, specifically for the BluesCube amplifiers. With Tube Logic Technology, you gain instant access to all the sonic textures and acoustic subtleties associated with tube amplification. And thanks to Roland's new proprietary Rectifex circuitry, you have the sounds of two completely different rectifiers: the classic tube rectifier and the modern diode rectifier.

The heavy duty 10" speakers were designed after the warm, yet cutting speakers found in some of the world's most outstanding combo amps. Remember the old 4x10 Bassman or the Tremolux Reverb? Plug one of the new BluesCubes in and you will instantly recall the timeless beauty of these and many other classic amps.

With four BluesCubes to choose from, the choice is tougher than ever. Whether your kicking out blues, country, jazz or rock, the new BC-30/210 and the BC-60/310 are ready to deliver all the different tones your music demands. Plug in, turn on and crank it up ... you'll be glad you did.
