Cubase Score 2.0 for Windows
January 18, 1996 -- With this update Steinberg has now made its most powerful music software available for the PC platform. The integration of MIDI, video, sample playback and notation makes Cubase Score 2.0 for Windows the most powerful sequencer currently available for the PC. The sequencer part of Cubase Score, based on the award-winning Cubase Arrange Window, is even further enhanced. Both the functions and the intuitive user interface have been improved through the "new-look" screen appearance which is neatly rounded off with the implementation of color. In addition to the integrated modules; StyleTrax, interactive auto accompaniment styles, and Studio Module, the ultimate sound and instrument manager. Cubase Score also includes the graphic tempo editor CueTrax as an alternative to the conventional Mastertrack. The notation part offers WYSYWYG, real-time scrolling and zoom in/out from 35-200%, not forgetting the 230+ new scoring features which make the purchase of a separate dedicated scoring program unnecessary. There isn't a detail which can't be controlled by the user. Auto layout, guitar tablature and drum notation mean that MIDI tracks can appear in no time, on paper or film, as a professionally laid out score or leadsheet. Cubase Score 2.0 is naturally Windows95 compatible. Cubase Score 2.0 MSRP $549.00 For more information, visit their web site at www.steinberg.net.
