Rocket Vintage Guitar Equipment

January 16, 1997 -- An exciting new brand name will take NAMM by storm, and its called ROCKET! An entire line of vintage guitar combos, cabinets, stomp boxes and accessories has been created from a 1940's vintage amp found in a garage sale! After some needed refurbishing, this garage sale amp was found to have remarkable tone and articulation and it ended up with the R&D folks at ADA, who are renown for their tube technology. With the gain control labeled 'Thrust' on the original, it was logical for the new line to be called "Rocket" !

The Rocket Vintage Combos, Heads and Cabinets have a distinctive look; the shape is reminiscent of a 1940's radio with ultra-rounded shoulders, two-tone tolex covering, vintage leather handle and hardware. Included in the line are four All-Tube Guitar Combos ranging from the 'Model A10,' a ten watt, 1x12, class A studio amp with remarkable tone and articulation to the incredible 'Model T62,' a sixty watt, EL-34 based 2x12 with tone quality, versatility and features not found on expensive 'boutique' amplifiers! In addition, two All-Tube Performance Heads in 60 watt, EL-34 based short ('Model H60S') and long chassis ('Model H60L') designs are available. Matching Rocket 212 and 412 Cabinets loaded with Celestion or Rocket custom drivers creates a stunning vintage stack!

Complementing the tube models are the 70 watt, 1x12 'Model M70' and 120 watt, 2x12 'Model M122' Rocket Hybrid Vintage Combos. These outstanding units use a push-pull, 'tubey' sounding solid state amplifier mated with a 6-voice, 2-channel 12AX7 based preamp complete with recording outputs and cabinet emulation technology. The Hybrids provide spectacular volume, articulation and tonal variety unlike any combo on the market!!

Completing the Rocket line are SIX Rocket Vintage Stomp Boxes: the Rocket Orbiter, the Fresh Fuzz, the Sonic Screamer, the Sand Box, the Funk Machine and the Multi-Vibe. The amazing Rocket Batt-Man battery emulator/AC adapter eliminator in one, two, and four input variations fulblls the Rocket Accessory line. Rocket Tube Combos begin at $449.95, while Stomp Boxes start at $99.95 with the Batt-Man 4 at $129.95, suggested retail prices.
