Crate Announces New Pro Audio Line

January 29, 1998 -- Crate, best known for manufacturing American-made, award-winning amplifiers since 1979, has introduced a new line of PA products as "Crate Pro Audio" for 1998.

Crate Pro Audio is the natural evolution of PA systems and products utilizing the years of experience, sound design and component testing of Crate Amplifiers. All Crate Pro Audio products are tested in real-world playing situations to meet the demands of live sound applications.

Crate Pro Audio's TEF testing process, computer modeling and design and United States manufacturing yield high quality, durable products that provide superior audio characteristics. Each product is tested at the component level, board level, chassis level and then a final level where the product is tested as an entire unit.

Crate's four-step testing process produces an incomparable high-quality audio product with another major benefit: the confidence to offer a transferrable 5/2 warranty at no charge. Introduced as a standard warranty with Crate amplifiers, parts and labor are covered for five years on electronic components, two years on speakers and the warranty may be transferred to another owner within the same five year period.

Crate Pro Audio products are musician-made in the USA at one of two state-of-theart manufacturing facilities in St. Louis, Missouri and Yellville, Arkansas.
