Peak 2.0 Supports Digidesign® Audio Hardware and Plug-Ins

January 29, 1998 -- Berkley Integrated Audio Software, Inc. (BIAS) announces that it has now become a DAE(TM) (Digidesign Audio Engine) developer. Version 2.0 of BIAS' award-winning digital audio editor, Peak(TM), will now run seamlessly on all Digidesign® audio hardware that supports DAE, including Pro Tools|24®, Pro Tools III®, and AudioMedia III(TM). The inclusion of DAE support in Peak 2.0 will also give Digidesign and BIAS users full access to TDM(TM) and Audiosuite(TM) Plug-ins within Peak 2.0,

Digidesign Pro Tools|24 users will be especially pleased with DAE support in Peak 2.0, which offers support for 16- and 24-bit audio. Peak 2.0 now represents a true 16- and 24-bit dedicated 2-channel recording, editing and mastering solution for Pro Tools|24 users. BIAS Peak users will be especially pleased that Peak 2.0 offers access to even more plug-in formats than before, when combined with Digidesign audio hardware.

Pricing and Availability Peak 2.0 has an MSRP of US$499.00 and will be available at the end of Q1, 1998.
