Perkana Perkussion Unveils Go-Jo Bag

Innovative Instrument Creates Wide Variety Of Sounds & Rhythms

January 29, 1998 -- Perkana Perkussion is debuting the 'Go-Jo Bag', a unique percussion instrument that is the only mutable shaker of its kind. It utilizes specially selected beads that are sealed inside a nylon bag, and the duration and volume of the sound is controlled by how tightly the bag is held. The Go-Jo Bag comes in a three-pack of different tones (green is low; red is mid; yellow is high) and can be played individually or in matched or unmatched pairs.

"It's very durable and can be tossed, grabbed, slid, smacked and tapped," said Stephen Perkins, one of the product's co-founders and inventors. "You can create an incredible array of sounds and you don't have to be a professional drummer and percussionist to use it. The Go-Jo Bag is also a unique alternative to more traditional percussive instruments such as cabasas, shakers, maracas, ocean drums and rain sticks."

For more information on the Go-Jo Bag, call (800) 406-0402; fax number is (818) 783-1995. You can also view the product, listen to a sound demo, and order it for only $32.95 on the Internet at www.perkana.com.
