Zoom 503 Cabinet Simulator Pedal

January 29, 1998 -- The new Zoom 503 Simulator is a compact multi-effect device that authentically recreates the sound of a wide range of guitar and bass amps. Ideal for recording or playing through home stereo systems, the 503 features sophisticated cabinet simulator circuitry that lets players control cabinet size and resonance characteristics and even even recreate the sound of different miking positions.

Two input jacks with different sensitivity allow optimum matching with any type of guitar or bass, including instruments with single coil and active pickups. The 503 includes five types of high-quality stereo effects such as chorus, delay and reverb for realistic ambient sounds.

An Aux input lets the instrument signal be mixed with CD and tape players so users can play along with backing tracks or their favorite prerecorded music. Other features include an auto-chromatic tuner and a dual power supply design that allows the 503 to be powered from a 9V alkaline battery or AC adapter.

The amazing 503 Simulator has an MSRP of $129.
