January 28, 1999 -- Audio-Technica announces the new PRO 100 Series VHF Wireless Systems. The PRO 100 Series is designed for a wide-range of applications including live performance, places of worship, lecture circuit, public address and aerobic instruction. The PRO 100 Series VHF Wireless Systems offer four options: guitar, handheld, lavalier and headworn. The four systems are as follows: The PRO 128 Handheld Microphone System provides freedom of movement for on-stage singing and presentations. Included in the system are a PRO-R1 Receiver and an ATW-T28 handheld unidirectional dynamic microphone/transmitter which features an Audio-Technica HiENERGY® dynamic element and excellent internal shock mounting. The PRO 127G UniPak Guitar System is designed to deliver "wired" guitar sound with the freedom of wireless. The system consists of the PRO-R1 Receiver, ATW-T27 UniPak TM Transmitter and AT-GCW Guitar Input Cable. The body-pack includes a high impedance input that provides optimum load when used with electric guitars. The PRO 127L UniPak Lavalier Microphone System provides professional performance for public speaking, business presentations and live theater. The system includes a PRO-R1 Receiver, ATW-T27 UniPak Transmitter and AT829cW cardioid condenser lavalier microphone. The PRO 127H UniPak Headworn Microphone System is perfect for active performances such as aerobics instruction, hands-free vocals and public speaking. The system includes a PRO-R1 Receiver, ATW-T27 UniPak Transmitter and PRO 8HEcW hypercardioid dynamic headworn microphone. All four systems include the PRO-R1 ; a 4.33"W x 1.33"H x 8.27"D receiver which features an advanced dipole antenna system for extended operating range, adjustable squelch control and 1/4-inch audio output jack. All transmitters include a power-save switch which permits extended battery life of up to 20 hours. In addition, a durable plastic carrying case is provided for extra protection, convenience and portability.
