DOD Announces FX66 Flashback Fuzz

January 28, 1999 -- Guaranteed to make guitarists feel like they're having a flashback from the Monterey Pop Festival, the new FX66 "Flashback Fuzz" from DOD is a fuzz pedal reminiscent of the vintage fuzz stompboxes of the '60s.

Housed in a psychedelically-painted Birkenstock-proof all-metal chassis, four rotary controls line the upper face of the pedal: Volume (overall volume level), Low (low frequency), Tone (high frequency) and Fuzz (amount of fuzz).

Operable on either a 9-volt battery or DOD's optional PS200R power supply, the FX66 sports an LED above the footswitch that indicates when the distortion is active. Like all DOD FX Series pedals, the Flashback Fuzz also features an easy access battery compartment, active switching for noiseless operation, a rubber non-skid bottom and three-year limited warranty.

The suggested U.S. retail price on the DOD FX66 Flashback Fuzz is $89.95.
