New Passport Accessories from FenderJanuary 28, 1999 -- Passport 150 and 250 owners get an additional bonus in portability and convenience with four new accessories from Fender®: introduces a transportation gig-bag cover, a wall mounting bracket for the Passport speaker, a battery pack for outdoor - remote applications and a hand cart/ cover combination, specially designed to compliment the power and flexibility of the Passport family of products. P-150 GIG BAG COVER Protect your already durable and tough Passport 150 from dings and scratches with the new Passport 150 Cover. Made of the same tough materials Fender uses on their instrument gig bags, the attractive Passport 150 travel cover provides increased protection for your investment. Large conforming storage pockets hold additional cables, microphones and accessories allowing your complete system to be easily and safely transported and kept together. PASSPORT SPEAKER WALL MOUNTING SYSTEMS For fixed installation of either the Passport 150 or 250 Sound System Speakers, Fender introduces the Passport Wall Mount Bracket. A low cost, yet safe and sturdy mounting system that provides a pivoting speaker platform for adjusting the vertical angle and a swinging wall bracket for the horizontal plane. PASSPORT BATTERY PACK Use your Passport miles away from civilization! Sometimes running a/c power to an event location is either impossible or impractical. The Passport Battery Pack, in combination with the Fender DC-DC converter, provides an ideal and simple solution to this frequently found problem. Get the same incredible Passport performance on a 12 volt battery as you do on a/c power. The few available systems in the market that can operate remotely, are severely compromised when powered by batteries. Both Passports as well as the new Powered Expander/ Sub Bass System give output power and sound quality in battery operation that is indistinguishable from their main power performance. For simplicity of use as well as safe and easy transportation, Fender introduces the Passport Battery Pack. A powerful 120 volt, 17.5 amp per hour, sealed lead/acid battery with "smart" care-taking system in a compact and relatively lightweight package, the Passport Battery Pack gives up to 8 hours of typical use on a full charge. Capable of being charged from either a car lighter socket or A/C , the lead-acid battery will not fail due to the memory effect that eventually plagues other batteries made from Nickel Cadmium. A built in flashlight for low light situations and a lighter socket complete the battery package. Unlike some cheaper Booster charger packs with only short duration, peak power output capability, the Fender Battery Pack will give sustained high power operation for extended periods. PASSPORT 250 TRAVEL PACK AND COVER Fender introduces the Passport 250 Travel Pack and Cover. This attractive and sturdy padded amp style cover allows for added protection to the already rugged Passport system. For use in transportation and storage, this cover has an integral quick release strap for holding the P-250 to the Travel Pack folding-handcart-carrier. This tough specially designed carrier has a base that is tailored to fit the exact dimensions of the Passport 250. In combination, the Passport cover and hand cart are the logical accessories to enhance the portability of the Passport 250 and Powered Expander Systems.
