The rapid-response surface and high-definition bell of the medium-weight Carmine Appice Signature Ride add up to a potent performer at any volume. Without being overly metallic, it combines tone and cut in a finely focused field of projection that remains crisp and clear at all volumes. The odd-size Chinese models, with their high-profile bow and deep-V flange, bite with incredibly hot and raw trashiness while delivering with a greater degree of projection and durability than Carmine's original Chinese models.
