New Carmine Appice Signature Chinese And Ride Models

January 28, 1999 -- SABIAN has introduced totally new 17" and 19" Carmine Appice Signature Chinese models and a 21" Signature Ride, as the Canadian cymbal company and the legendary rock drummer team up once again to create cymbals - this time in highly durable, Brilliant Finish bronze - that deliver the bright, muscular sounds required for today's high-volume music.

The rapid-response surface and high-definition bell of the medium-weight Carmine Appice Signature Ride add up to a potent performer at any volume. Without being overly metallic, it combines tone and cut in a finely focused field of projection that remains crisp and clear at all volumes. The odd-size Chinese models, with their high-profile bow and deep-V flange, bite with incredibly hot and raw trashiness while delivering with a greater degree of projection and durability than Carmine's original Chinese models. "They're a combination of Hand Hammered tone and PRO series cut," noted Carmine.

Added SABIAN Cymbal Tester Robert Mason: "Carmine is a big fan of Hand Hammered and PRO, so these cymbals deliver the dominant qualities of both. The mix works so well at projecting and penetrating with a tasty touch of tone that players into all styles, from Rock and Funk to Country and the Blues will find Carmine's cymbals interesting and effective new options."

Available in Brilliant Finish only, Carmine Appice Signature models are precision-crafted and Hand Hammered from pure SABIAN B8 bronze. They are protected against faults arising from production and material by SABIAN's One-Year Warranty Protection Program.
