DX Series digital amps featuring digital modeling and built-in effects.

Roland/Boss (www.rolandus.com)

Rack mounted (Roland GP-100) and floor (Boss GT-5 and GT-3) preamps with Roland's COSM technology designed to model amplifiers, speakers, microphones, and pickups. VG-8 and VG-88 modeling guitar systems take guitar modeling close to the realm of synthesis. These require that you install a special Roland GK-2A divided pickup on your guitar.
