This was purchased new in 2004. It is a C25 Koa back and sides with a spruce top and mahongeny neck and master class wood binding. I have had this guitar for 4 months now. I am amazed at the quality and beauty of the workmanship and the level of superb detail. These are customer made guitars. It is a thing of beauty. The koa is absolutely stunning and actually seems to be three-dimensional when you look at it closely. It is a cut-off model with a slightly thicker body than your common guitar. I can't say enough about the appearance of this guitar.
Sound: 10
The sound of this guitar is like heaven to the ears. The kao produces a silky warm sound - not a deep as rosewood but less bright than mahogeny or certainly a maple. The tone is even and well defined. I own a Taylor, Martin and Giuld and this Breedlove Koa stands out a the best to me.
Action, Fit, & Finish: 10
The action is perfect for me. Eveyone has their choice of action and I like mine generally low and this is that way with no buzzing. It came that way delivered. The guitar came flawless. There is no electronics on this guitar at this time.
Reliability/Durability: 9
This seems like a very realiable guitar. I believe it will last a lifetime. I rate it a 9 because I don't know for sure since I only had it 4 months now. The finish is perfect.

Anyone who knows Breedlove knows that these are great custom make guitars. They are expensive if you get one like this but it should provide many hours of happiness. Again, I own a Taylor, Martin and a Guild and this stands out as the best. It cost more than those that I have but it is worth it.
