Full, clear and rich. Very piano like with great note seperation. Good bass response with wonderful mids and highs.
Action, Fit, & Finish: 10
Great action for a 12 string. Low and easy to play on the hand shaped neck. Bookmatch of top and back is outstanding. The pinless bridge is striking for it's shape and functionality.
Reliability/Durability: 10
Probably the most long lived 12 strings made. The JLD bridge truss allows you to tune to concert pitch without the worries of stressing the top. Solid construction with masterful attention to detail.
Customer Support: 10
Prompt replies to e-mail and friendly on the phone. Toured their shop when I was in Bend. Very nice folks.
Overall Rating: 10
my first 12 string in over 25 years of playing. I own two other Breedlove's, a C12MP and a K-5 Cascade Mandolin. I have three Larrivee's, a Martin and a Bourgeois. This is what a 12 string should be. Steve Henderson has nailed the design and makes the best out there. I wouldn't hesitate to get another if this one was lost. The only thing better would be to add the upgraded appointments.
