This guitar is handmade in 2004/2005 in Oregon. It is a 14 fret, 1 3/4" nut dread. It has EIRW back and sides with a sitka spruce top. Mahogany neck with an ebony fretboard and ebony bridge. Mother of pearl Micro dots on the fretboard. The tuners are open back grovers (sta-tite). It came in a beautiful Breedlove black case that would blow away any other case in padding and substance that comes from any martin. It has 6 locks. 4 front and 2 in the rear.

I also ahave the revival series DM (mahogany). This is just as loud and cutting except the rosewood has more overtones with harder bass, in other words it is rich, full, and loud. Excellent for Bluegrass and flatpicking (my type of music).
There is no disliking this loudmouth.... :)
Action, Fit, & Finish: 10
Again.... like the DM, I see no flaws any where on the guitar and this really amazes me. Nothing is mismatched. Excellent wood quality and all hardware is secure to the guitar the way it should be.
The set-up is excellent, but everybody is different. Every guitar needs a tweek for personal usage.

Reliability/Durability: 10
The finish is a low grade semi-gloss. This guitar will last a lifetime. It is solid as a rock and I will never need another, but...I do have its twin in mahogany (DM). You can depend on it, no questions asked...

It has a lifetime gaurantee. But...I can't see where I would need it.
The customer service branch has been incredibly kind and helpful.

These two dreads that I have from Breedlove makes me a very happy man, regardless of the music I play. They will cover all of it. I chose these instuments over others due to their true prewar presence and the fact they were copied from a prewar martin. Everything about them I love.
If these were stolen, the thief had better be the wiser, 'cause I will be an evil individual to deal with. If destroyed...they would be replaced with the same.
You can't get better perfection... they are that special, just ask the dealers...
