This beautiful 12 string was built in 2002 in Oregon. It has a sitka spruce top and gorgeous myrtlewood back and sides. My model has the soft cutaway. Tuners are mini grovers and the neck is very slim and comforable.
Sound: 10
I bought this particular guitar sight unseen, but only after doing immense internet research and buying from a store that has a great return policy. I've owned other 12 strings (Martin, Gibson, Yamaha), but there really is no comparison to the tone this guitar produces. The bass is phenomenal. Trebles are maple-esque, sparkly. Projection can be described as room filling. The tone I would describe as a rosewood bottom with a maple or mahagony top. Extremely balanced sound as well.
Action, Fit, & Finish: 10
The action was a little tight out of the box, but after my tech got thru with it, it plays like butter. I looked this guitar over inside and out and found no flaws.
Reliability/Durability: N/A
Just bought it so can't honestly answer this. It is very light but seems to be extremely well made.

Overall Rating: 10
I've been at this for over 35 years. I've played pretty much all styles, but am finding myself returning to my acoustic roots as of late. I own a ton of gear, including two beautiful Larrivees. I chose this particular model as I've been a rosewood man all my life and wanted something entirely different. This guitar fits the bill. It is clearly the best 12 string I've ever played, and I've played a few over the years. I've never had a jumbo guitar before so it's a little different getting used to that. The sound is worth it tho.
