This guitar is made for little girls, not a lot of features, one humbucker with volume control, but my 9 year kid doesnt need more than that. It came with a little gig bag and tools. It is made in china. Of course this guitar is mainly a showy with the butterfly design. It took from Jan to April to finally get it. It was featured on a music video on Disney so I thing every little girl in the country wanted one. The body is petty heavy a bit heaver than my kid was expecting, she will big up my Strat and say "Daddy the Butterfly is heaver than your Fender". Of course the Daisy rock is a short scale so it has a shorter thinner neck for small hands. I think the body is basswood, neck maple and board rosewood. It is pretty solid compared to what I was expecting, she has a little JJ heart acustic guitar and that one justs seems cheap, painted on bindings, finish super thin. But the daisy rock has thick body, nice finsh, even the inlays look pretty good, i was expecting little stickers on the finger board.

Sound: 5
Not much to say here, I had to do a lot of tinkering to get it sounding any good, I will cover that in fit an finsh. It sounds alright for a single pickup kids guitar. She has been playing it with my Vampire amp, so she puts it on ultimate V distortion and lets it rip, hehehehe. I think a 58 Les Paul would sound the same on that setting.

Action, Fit, & Finish: 5
The overall constuction of the guitar was suprising good. Nice paint, neck is smooth. I ordered a parker p-38 (sent it back) that i wish had been built this well. But, I did have some problems with the action and buzzing. The action was set very high, the saddles were set almost to the top and it still had a sitar sounding buzz. At first I figured it was the nut like my other guitar had done but I could fret downt the board and still get the buzzy sound on the D string. I raised it as high as I could off the board and still get buzzing. So I figured it had to be strings or bridge. So I pulled all the strings off, gave a little tweek to the truss rod and even swaped a few of the saddle positions and that seems to take care of the problem, I was able to move the strings to a lower action without the buzzing, so Im not %100 sure what the problem was. I hope my kid will start using it to learn some more, she did take it to karaoke and sing with it the other night as a prop, it is kind of front heavy and leans forward on the strap. The fretts actually look pretty good, smoother than my strat on some, I thought that might have been some of the buzzing problem but it buzzed even way off any fretts. Ill give it a 5 because the over quality seems good but the action was poor.

Reliability/Durability: 7

This is the kind of guitar you buy for you whinny little brat because she saw it on a TV show, it is really cute for a little girl, but it is a bit heavy and it doesnt fit well to the body. But you cant beat cute.
