MSRP), Cakewalk Professional(TM) 5.0 ($249 MSRP), Cakewalk Home Studio
5.0 ($129 MSRP), and Cakewalk Song Station 5.0 ($69 MSRP). Registered

With the version 5.0 releases, Cakewalk Music Software brings integrated
MIDI and digital audio recording to a wide range of PC users, from professional
musicians to music enthusiasts. This integration of MIDI and digital audio
allows users to incorporate vocals, guitars, horns, sound effects or any
other audio inputs into their MIDI sequences.
Other new Cakewalk 5.0 features include Windows 95 & Windows 3.1 editions
on one CD-ROM; flexible, intuitive Clip song structures; enhanced notation
with guitar chord grids, dynamic markings, and enharmonic spellings; an
expanded Instrument Definition library; and more.
New 5.0 Feature Highlights:
- Dual Platform. The Cakewalk 5.0 line includes both Windows(TM) 3.1
and Windows 95(TM) versions on a single CD-ROM. Cakewalk Pro Audio,
Cakewalk Professional, and Cakewalk Home Studio also include the Windows
3.1 version on 3.5" disks.
- Windows 95-specific Features. Cakewalk now offers the widest range
of fully compliant, 32-bit MIDI and digital audio software for Windows
95. The Windows 95 versions of Cakewalk support: long file names; tooltips;
creation of Cakewalk files on the Windows 95 Desktop; an on-screen MIDI
activity monitor; support for running multiple instances of Cakewalk
simultaneously; dragging and dropping of Cakewalk files from the Windows
95 Explorer directly into Cakewalk; more.
- Multi-Track Digital Audio. All Cakewalk 5.0 products now allow you
to record multiple tracks of digital audio along with your MIDI tracks:
record and edit unlimited tracks of CD-quality digital audio in Cakewalk
Pro Audio; record four tracks in Cakewalk Professional and Cakewalk
Home Studio; and two tracks in Cakewalk Song Station.
Audio features include VU meters; variable sampling rates from 11
kHz to 44.1 kHz; audio scrubbing; audio cut/copy/paste and drag/drop
commands; split/combine audio clips; mix-down multiple tracks simultaneously;
more. Cakewalk Pro Audio, Cakewalk Professional and Cakewalk Home
Studio feature a ten band graphic EQ. Cakewalk Pro Audio features
advanced audio editing: Groove Quantize audio-to-MIDI, MIDI-to audio,
