Cakewalk Music Software Releases Interactive
CD-ROM Demo August 8, 1996
In conjunction with Cakewalk Music Software's
new 5.0 product launch, the company is now shipping an interactive, mixed-mode
CD-ROM demo of the entire Cakewalk 5.0 Iine.
The Cakewalk 5.0 Demo features an interactive user interface that gives
an extensive overview of the company's line of music software products.
In order to help users pick the right Cakewalk product for their needs,
the CD-ROM includes six different demo versions of Cakewalk 5.0 programs,
on-screen live motion tutorials, a product differentiation chart, a users
guide, and more. In addition, the Cakewalk 5.0 Demo is a mixed-mode CD-ROM.
It includes three bonus CD audio tracks, created entirely on Cakewalk
to enjoy on your home or car stereo.
With its integration of MIDI and digital audio, professional music editing,
and ease-of-use, the Cakewalk 5.0 Iine offers an affordable means for
anyone with a Windows PC and compatible sound card to record, produce,
publish and distribute "CD-quality" recordings right from their desktop.
The Cakewalk 5.0 Demo highlights this by including two Cakewalk MIDI +
audio song files by Boston rocker Charlie Farren. Farren's music is also
included as CD audio tracks.
The Cakewalk 5.0 product line, released in June of this year, adds integrated
digital audio and MIDI recording to the entire Cakewalk software family.
Each Cakewalk product ships with both native Windows 95 and Windows 3.1
versions in one package. The product line includes Cakewalk Pro Audio(TM)
($399 MSRP) and Cakewalk Pro Audio Deluxe with Musician's Toolbox(TM)
($479 MSRP), Cakewalk Professional(TM) 5.0 ($249 MSRP), Cakewalk Home
Studio(TM) 5.0 ($129 MSRP), and Cakewalk Song Station(TM) 5.0 ($69 MSRP). For more information, visit their web site at www.cakewalk.com. |
