Tube driven amplifiers are famous for their distinctive and rich sound.

when it comes to overdrive and distortion, tube technology is a must!
Digital emulation of this technology is often regarded with some
scepticism: realization of tube sound in the digital domain has already
been attempted many times, to no avail! Until now.
Following years of research, Steinberg is proud to present Red Valve-It,
now finally delivering the authentic warmth and richness of vintage tube
gear.
Forget having to search for exactly the right microphone position, or
having to change from one amp or speaker to another. Red Valve-It
includes
a preamp with different tube sound characteristics and speaker
emulations,
delivering any sound from Jazz to Blues and wildly distorted rock
settings.
The preamp comprises three elements; the drive section, a 3-band EQ and
a
Gate with automatic calibration. Two different tube models are actually
implemented: the first in the input stage, and the second in the drive
section, ensuring an extremely natural, smooth and rich tube sound.
The speaker includes two different basic characteristics; combo and
stack,
covering most applications.
