ObjektSynth Version 0.7 BETA for BeOS Released! January 1, 1997ObjektSynth is a realtime music synthesizer that works and sounds
much like a traditional analog synthesizer. All sound is calculated
and editable in real time--no samples or wavetables are used.
You can load, edit, and save your own patch presets, or use the
presets provided. ObjektSynth's maximum sound quality is
48KHz16-bit without the need for sound cards. The number of voices
is limited only by CPU power. All parameters are controllable via
MIDI or mouse simultaneously, so you can hook up a MIDI fader box
to the BeBox, grab ahold and see faders sliding around on screen in
realtime! ObjektSynth also supports standard MIDI files on all BeOS
compatible machines.
The first public beta is free of charge. Pricing is still to be
determined for a future commercial release, but it should be
well under $200, and we intend to always have limited free
demos of ObjektSynth available. For more information, visit their web site at www.ObjektSynth.com. |
