Grover Pro Percussion Announces New Wood Blocks

Features new rubber insulators, more sizes, increased resonance

January 1, 1997

Grover Pro Percussion has added a new line of wood blocks to their growing line of high-quality concert percussion products.

Grover's new line of wood blocks includes the WB-7 (7 inch / MSRP $26), WB-8 (8 inch / $ MSRP 27), WB-9 (9 inch / MSRP $28), and WB-10 (10 inch / MSRP $29). All wood blocks are manufactured using the finest select New England Rock Maple and are precision-pitched for maximum resonance and tonal variation. New features also include rubber foot insulators to prevent sound transmission from block-to-table and provide a positive grip base.

"Customers have been requesting that we add new sizes to our line of wood blocks for years," commented Neil Grover, president of Grover Pro Percussion and percussionist with the Boston Pops. "Our new wood blocks offer a wide variety of sizes and pitches which increase the percussionist's selection of tonal variation."
