Audio-Technica Shows New Shock-Mount Plates
January 1, 1997Audio-Technica is introducing three new shock-mount plates to
the systems contracting market at this year's NSCA Expo in Charlotte, North
Carolina.
Each shock-mount plate features a flexible suspension panel to isolate its microphone from the mounting surface for effective reduction of mechanical noise and vibration Compatible with lightweight condenser gooseneck microphones, such as UniPoint® Engineered Sound® and ProPoint models, the three shock-mount plates include: the AT8646AM, equipped with a 5/8"-27 threaded mount; the AT8646QM, featuring an XLRF connector mount; and the AT8647QM/S, with an XLRF mount and lighted mute switch (24-48V phantom power required for operation).
