DOD Rounds Out SR Series EQ Line

Following the introductions of the SR231Q/SR231QX and SR830Q/SR830QX EQs, which made their debuts last year, DOD is rounding out its SR Series with several more "Constant Q" equalizers--the SR430Q, SR430QX, SR431Q and SR831Q.
The new DOD EQs include the: SR430Q, a 1U, dual-channel, 15-band, 2/3rd-octave EQ with balanced 1/4-inch connectors; SR430QX, identical to the SR430Q, but with balanced XLRs in addition to its 1/4-inch connectors; SR431QX, a 1U, mono 31-band, 1/3rd-octave EQ with balanced XLR and 1/4-inch connectors; and SR831QX, a 2U, mono 31-band, 1/3rd-octave EQ with balanced XLR and 1/4-inch connectors.
Designed to provide sound contractors and other audio professionals with an excellent combination of reliability, features and value, the new EQs offer up to 12dB of boost or cut per band using low-noise potentiometers, while up to +/-12dB of overall level control is available to compensate for gain changes due to equalization boost or cut. Switchable low cut filters (12dB/octave rolloff, 3dB down @ 50Hz) are offered for each channel that utilize electronic filter switching to minimize transients (loud pops or clicks when the switch is depressed).
Each filter throughout the full audio spectrum on the SR430Q, SR430QX, SR431QX and SR831QX represents a Constant Q bandwidth for incredibly even response at any setting.
Housed in rugged steel chassis, bypass controls feature LED lights, while LED bargraphs indicate output level. Rocker-type power switches are located on the units' front panels for easy access.
Incredibly clean, the DOD SR Series equalizers features a total harmonic distortion typically less than 0.004% at 1kHz, and an impressive signal-to-noise ratio of 106dB. Frequency response is a full 20Hz to 20kHz, +0/-0.5dB, with a frequency center tolerance of 5%. Made in the USA, a one year limited warranty is offered on the SR Series processors from the manufacturer.
