Turtle Beach Systems Announces New Pinnacle Project Studio(TM)A Complete Desktop Music Production System For Windows May 21, 1997
Turtle Beach Systems, a division of Voyetra Technologies Inc. and leading provider of premier audio hardware, announces the release of The Pinnacle Project Studio, the first affordable desktop digital audio recording/production system for Windows® 3.1, 95 and NT 4.0.
The Pinnacle Project Studio provides CD-quality multitrack hard disk recording, dual Kurzweil(TM) synthesizers, a MIDI sequencer, and a direct-to-DAT digital audio interface 96 all for under $600.

Included with The Pinnacle Project Studio is the MultiSound Pinnacle(TM) sound board which features 20-bit converters for input/output, a Kurzweil professional synthesizer with on-board channalized digital effects and a 4MB patch set compressed to 2MB, an amazing signal to noise ratio greater than 97 dB and an S/PDIF interface for transferring digital audio between PC and DAT. Up to 48MB of optional sample RAM can be added to create and download custom sample libraries.
Additional hardware includes a second Kurzweil synthesizer daughterboard which adds 32 voices enhanced with global FX processing for a total of 64 voices on 32 MIDI channels.
Bundled with The Pinnacle Project Studio is a Turtle Beach Applications CD featuring Voyetra Technologies' award-winning Digital Orchestrator Plus(TM), a professional MIDI/digital audio sequencer. Digital Orchestrator Plus features an intuitive drag-and-drop user interface, over 1000 digital/MIDI audio tracks, and digital audio transforms such as pitch shift, time compress/expand, graphic EQ plus many others. In addition to Digital Orchestrator Plus, a collection of audio utilities from Voyetra such as AudioStation(TM), AudioView(TM) and MIDI Orchestrator(TM) are also included on the Applications CD along with a Pinnacle Audio Mixer, a Kurzweil Patch Library and a multitude of WAV and MIDI files.
The Pinnacle Project Studio requires a 486DX2/66 or higher PC running Windows® 3.1, '95 or NT 4.0, 8MB RAM (minimum), 8MB Hard disk space for software and 40MB for data, a 16-bit ISA slot and CD-ROM drive. With a suggested retail price of $599.95, Pinnacle Project Studio will be available through Turtle Beach's network of authorized distributors and music dealers.
