TekLab Releases A3k Wizard Series Sample CDs
December 2, 1998TekLab Custom Software announces the new "A3k Wizard Series" Sample CD collection, a finely tuned set of Sample CD's exclusively for the Yamaha A3000 Professional Sampler.
With the "A3k Wizard Series," TekLab is presenting the skills of some of the most savvy professional A3000 musicians around the world in a Sample CD series that gives you everything you need to start using your A3000 Sampler for modern music production.
The hand crafted instruments in the first 2 of this 3 CD series are much more than simple samples that require you to set up and edit before you can use. Each instrument focuses the dynamic synth and effects capabilities of the A3000 Sampler to give you completely working synth, effects, drum and other voices that are ready for instant use in your music production. The 3rd CD in the series provides a massive collection of rhythm breakbeats and percussive loops, ready for further processing to your tastes.
CD #1 - "Spitzensynth (EE)" - produced by Frank Winkelman, veteran German A3000 user and longtime supporter of the A3000 as a musical platform, "Spitzensynth (EE)" is a complete collection of classic Euro synth instrument voicings. This CD offers a collection of over 150 MB of classic European Synth Sounds, Nord Lead Samples, Pads, Strings, Synth Basses, Epic Atmospheres, Drums, and two demo-sequences...
CD #2 - "Gourmet Plate" - Jonathan Grant, veritable UK House musician and A3000 Master Chef dishes up an overflowing plate of over 150MB of A3k samples ready for your consumption! This CD is crammed with House style pads and effects, expressive lead and bass instruments, special FX, brass, organs and piano voicings, and also includes a complete classic 909 drum kit laid out in both XG-compatible and special "crammed-to-the-gills" Jono style keymappings. (88 key keyboard recommended!)
CD #3 - "Bucket O' Beats" - Spanish Beat-master Oscar Alvarez hauls up a bucket full of rhythms and breaks, ready for action! A HUUUUGE collection of rhythm samples ready for instant use on your Yamaha A3000 Sampler, ripe for use in hiphop/electrofunk/jungle/d&b/breakbeat/ or any FUTURE STYLE. Not content with just providing a superlative set of instruments for your A3000 Sampler, TekLab is also opening shop on a new web-based service designed to give you a massive head start in learning how to use your A3000 as the fine musical instrument it is. Each author of the CD's in the "A3k Wizard Series" will have their own open public forum on A3k Central (www.a3kcentral.com) where you can ask questions, hear demo's, make suggestions, and learn from the creative instrument techniques that each CD author has applied to putting together their CD.
