Steinberg Distributes Mixman Studio Pro Deluxe

Steinberg North America and Mixman Technologies Inc., today announced a strategic alliance in which Steinberg North America will distribute Mixman® Studio Pro Deluxe, the award winning music remixing software application for the Windows platform. Designed for DJs and musicians, Mixman Studio Pro Deluxe enables CD-quality music creation and real-time remixing, professional DSP effects, a graphic remix editor, an integrated recording studio featuring Steinberg's WaveLab Lite, and extensive audio export capabilities including RealAudio(R), trk and .wav support.
Because remixing is also about content, Mixman Studio Pro Deluxe includes two Soundiscs: Street Level and Gloss, featuring 2 CDs packed with easy-to-use house and hip-hop loops, vocals and instrument samples. Soundiscs feature content in Mixman's high performance Track File (.trk) format, as well as the traditional sample CD formats of audio (redbook) and .wav.
Mixman Studio Pro Deluxe consists of four components or "studios":
- FX Studio includes 15 FX and 99 presets; users can apply up to 5 effects on each of 16
digital audio tracks
- Remixing Studio includes 16 audio tracks, 256 voice polyphony, auto beat-matching and
patented real-time synchronization, critical for live performances.
- Editing Studio includes cell-based editing, quantize and dynamic parameter control.
- Recording Studio includes recording of wav files plus links to powerful third party audio
editors; Steinberg's Wavelab Lite is bundled with Studio Pro.
