Ensoniq Announces RhythmBuilder Tool for MR Series Keyboards January 5, 1998ENSONIQ announces RhythmBuilder(tm) powerful
creative tool for the MR series of keyboards - available free to all
current ENSONIQ users who own an MR-61 or MR-76, and can run Windows 95
based applications. RhythmBuilder allows users to create their own Drum
Machine rhythms for use in the highly praised built-in Drum Machine of
the MR-series keyboards.
"Customers spoke and we listened," said David Netting, Marketing
Manager. "Users wanted the ability to create libraries of their own drum
patterns to enhance the fluid compositional experience the MR-series
already provides, so we made it happen."
RhythmBuilder works with groups of Type 1 Standard MIDI Files,
extracting the data from track 1, to combine them into a single rhythm.
These combinations are groups into a single disk file with a ".rhy"
extension, which can subsequently be loaded into a FLASH or RAM rhythm
bank in the MR-61 or 76. Once loaded, your rhythm will behave just like
the rhythms that came with your MR - except that it contains the users'
music. The RhythmBuilder(tm) is available now for free download at
www.ensoniq.com.
