Sherman Technologies and Virginia-based Pink Guitarz Team Up to Offer Guitars with Innovative Tremolo System

Sherman Technologies and Pink Guitarz announce the availability of the Sherman Tremolo System, the first floating tremolo system to offer a complete system solution to problems that are common with tremolo-equipped guitars.
The Sherman Tremolo System provides unmatched tuning stability, reliability, responsiveness, wear resistance, and longevity. Virtually, every aspect of a floating tremolo system has been rethought, redesigned and re-engineered, resulting in numerous technological innovations, advances, and four United States patents.
Designed from the beginning to be a no compromise solution, the Sherman Tremolo System utilizes non-standard manufacturing methods, and materials. Virtually all components of the Sherman Tremolo System are manufactured using state-of-the-art machining methods. The Sherman Tremolo System does not use any cast or stamped components. The bridge plate, bridge saddles and string clamps are machined from high quality tool steel and then hardened.
As a guitarist, Gery Sherman was frustrated with the tremolo systems offered by guitar manufacturers. Sherman tried every system available on the market. These tremolo systems suffered from numerous problems, were difficult to use and had a tendency toward self destruction. Sherman was not satisfied with the technology that the industry had to offer so he decided to take matters into his own hands. By analyzing available tremolo systems and identifying the shortcomings of existing tremolo-equipped guitars, Sherman invented a total system solution, the Sherman Tremolo System.

Mark Knauff, the owner of Pink Guitarz and a well known and respected luthier in Northern Virginia, helped with development work on the Sherman Tremolo System. The Sherman Tremolo System is now available exclusively on Sherman Custom Guitars. Sherman Custom Guitars are made in the USA and built to order by Pink Guitarz. A hard-shell case and limited lifetime warranty is included. Most traditional body shapes are available. Sherman Custom Guitars feature bolt-on necks, 25.5" scale, 22 frets, 12" radius fingerboard and a choice of body wood, neck wood, fingerboard wood, neck shape, nut width, fret wire, hardware, pickups and finish. Other options are available. The price of the Sherman Custom Guitar is $3990.00.
