TB Systems Releases SoftMC Version 3.0, Real Time MIDI Control and Automation Software

release of their top selling software package SoftMC. SoftMC
Version 3.0 is a unique Windows application specifically
designed for real time MIDI control and automation of effects
processors, mixers, and other midi controlled devices, in a
variety of recording studio and sound reinforcement applications.
SoftMC Version 3.0 builds upon the extensive real time control
capabilities of its predecessors by adding a comprehensive list
of new and useful features which include snapshot automation,
drag and drop event control, a scaleable plug-in architecture,
and a new keyboard interface, to name just a few.
Users can create events by several methods including drag and
drop, by taking a snapshot of the current state of their
equipment, or by editing a blank event. Events, when triggered,
can configure up to 128 devices simultaneously. Events can be
triggered randomly or sequentially, either manually using the
mouse or keyboard, or automatically when synchronized to MIDI
time code. Real time parameter level control is maintained at
all times.
Along with one key access to the majority of SoftMC Version
3.0's features, SoftMC's new keyboard interface includes
programmable function keys for device selection and three
keypad modes for loading presets, triggering events, and
editing cues. Events can be triggered sequentially with the
space bar, edited presets can be compared to the original by
pressing and holding the End key, and presets can be loaded
and events triggered using the keypad. All making SoftMC
Version 3.0 extremely efficient to use in time critical
situations.
SoftMC Version 3.0's scaleable M.A.P.L.E. (Multiple Access
Plug-In Language Environment) architecture allows users to
configure SoftMC to meet their requirements. The included
program change and generic plug-ins allow users programmable
control over any MIDI device. Optional plug-ins are available
offering dedicated real time parameter level control and
editing capabilities for devices from manufactures such as
Lexicon, TC Electronic, Yamaha, BSS, Weiss, and many others.
SoftMC Version 3.0 is currently available in two versions,
SoftMC Professional and SoftMC LE. SoftMC LE offers the same
preset and parameter level control as SoftMC Professional but
without the automation and event control modules. A demo of
