Rio Grande Vintage 5 Pickup for 5-String Basses

Rio Grande introduces the Vintage 5, a high powered pickup for 5-string basses. Formatted around Rio's tough sounding 4-string pickup, this 5-string version delivers all the same punch, body and more. Ten hand-ground alnico 5 magnets and thousands of layers of the finest copper wire combine to give you great tone.
The new passive pickup is available in a variety of sizes and other options to accommodate replacement in over-the-counter basses from major manufactures as well as other spacings for independent bass builders.
This pickup is available in 2 configurations as a replacement for Fenders. One, to fit inside the very wide spacing of late model Fender 5-string bass covers, and the other, to fit the same spacing, but requiring no cover at all.
Another, slightly narrower spacing is also available in the version which requires no cover for installation. The Vintage 5 comes packaged with mounting hardware and diagram for easy installation. Suggested retail price is $76.00. For additional information contact:
