Grover Pro Percussion has introduced their Artist Choice(TM) Bamboo Bass Drum Mallets (MSRP $34). The mallets are available in three different models: General (BDM-1B), Staccato (BDM-2B), and Ultra Staccato (BDM-3B). A strict quality control process assures only straight, premium bamboo. Each shaft is custom-lathed and finished using a unique 10-step process, which results in a superior feel and the ultimate moisture seal. All shafts are then hand paired to ensure proper balance and consistent diameters. Hand-sewn German and American felts product clear, full sonorities with minimal contact sound. A full line of Bamboo Timpani Mallets is also available.
