September 13, 2000Studiomaster has introduced the new E Series power amplifier range. The new E Series feature a rugged 2 space rackmount design and includes four stereo models: 600E (200w x 200w @ 4 ohms), 900E (350w x 350w @ 4 ohms), 1500E (600w x 600w @ 4ohms) and the 2000E (800w x 800w @ 4 ohms). The 900, 1500 & 2000E are rated for 8, 4 and 2 ohm operation and will deliver full power into 2 ohms @ 450, 750 & 1000 w.p.c. respectively. The E Series is equipped with Studiomaster’s exclusive Amplifier Management Control System – (AMCS) that continuously protects the amplifier and speakers under all operating conditions while providing superior sonic performance. AMCS features include: Signal limiter, electronically gated power stage, thermal load sensing with variable speed fan cooling and crowbar speaker protection. Input connections: balanced XLR and " RTS balanced/unbalanced jacks. Output connections: binding posts and NL4 Speakons (2000E – NL4 only). All models feature front panel level controls and LED status meters. All models also feature stereo, mono and bridged operation and can be linked or ‘daisy chained’ with other amplifiers.
