 November 7, 2000The EXP-2001 Bixonic Expandora II is an upgraded version of the original EXP-2000 Expandora and features all the amazing tones of its legendary predecessor as well as some added improvements that make it even more versatile than before.
After listening to the suggestions of countless amateur and professional players, the company has done away with the internal DIP switches of the original Expandora and replaced them with an external Drive knob, allowing for precise on-the-fly tone tweaks without opening the back of the pedal. In addition, the Expandora II offers an increased low-end frequency response, making it sound bigger and better without sacrificing the transparency and dynamic responsiveness that made the EXP-2000 famous. The Expandora II is housed in a brand new, retro-style round chassis made from heavy-duty stamped steel.
