Hudson Music Announces DVD Release of Modern Drummer Festival 2000
 October 20, 2000Hudson Music have announced the immediate availability of their first-ever instructional music video on Digital Video Disk: "Modern Drummer Festival 2000". Hudson's new DVD release features nearly 3 hours of performances, clinics and interviews by world-famous drum artists Don Brewer, Vinnie Colaiuta, Horacio "El Negro" Hernandez with Marc Quiñones, Akira Jimbo, Hilary Jones, Paul Leim, Dave Lombardo, Street Beats and Billy Ward shot on location at the recent Modern Drummer Festival in Montclair, New Jersey.
The MD Festival 2000 DVD has a suggested list price of $49.95 and combines all of the footage (170 minutes) from Hudson Music's two separate (Saturday and Sunday) Festival VHS Videocassettes. The disk offers all the benefits of the popular DVD format- instant access to each performance as well as digital-quality sound and picture- plus several additional, musician-friendly features, such as:
- 5.1 (Surround Sound) Mix on two performances; one by Vinnie and one by Horacio.
