PG Music Inc. has launched its new Master Solos Series
with two exciting titles featuring outstanding guitar improvisations. Both programs,
Master Jazz Guitar Solos and Master Flatpick Guitar Solos, include 50 full-length
selections with extended improvised solos in the styles of top professionals plus
advanced programming support for enriched study and appreciation.
As the Master Solos songs play, they are displayed on an onscreen guitar
fretboard, in standard notation, and in guitar tablature. The user has
extensive control over playback, with the ability to set tempos, pause,
loop, jump to markers, and step through passages note-by-note. With top

of the master instrumentalists.
The Master Jazz Guitar Solos includes over 50 selections in the styles

others). All tunes are in MIDI format with a complete band arrangement
for bass, drums, piano and guitar. This is a great way to learn jazz guitar
soloing from the masters.
The Master Flatpick Guitar Solos showcases soloing in the styles of
great flatpick players like Doc Watson, Jerry Reed and others. The songs
have been prepared with the student in mind, and the program offers many
helpful study hints for getting the most out of its powerful programming
features.
As an added bonus, all of the song files for the Master Solos are provided
as files for PG Music Inc.'s popular Band-in-a-Box program. Band-in-a-Box
users can have even more fun by playing the songs in any of the hundreds
of available accompaniment styles, adding harmonies, or even recording
