Forget chili peppers. Today, the hottest products coming out of sun-drenched Albuquerque, New Mexico, are Sennheiser RS wireless headphones. Recently, Sennheiser USA's new 25,000 square-foot manufacturing facility began shipping its first contingent of the sleek and sophisticated headphone line, RS 30, RS 40, RS 60, and RS 80, to audio outlets across the country.
Finding a special niche in the headphone marketplace is the RS 60, featuring SRS Labs' surround sound processing, allows the user to experience spacious, realistic sound in a truly three-dimensional environment. What's more, its lightweight, circumaural design, 20Hz to 20kHz frequency range and "on-hook" charging system make the headphone the ideal choice for discerning music lovers everywhere.
"By putting a major manufacturing facility right here on American soil, we've streamlined the distribution process and can put the Sennheiser RS wireless headphones on the ears of our customers faster and more economically," says Rob Douglas, Sennheiser's headphone and multi-media product manager. "The Albuquerque plant does more than open up a vast array of production possibilities. It kicks off a whole new level of service to audio enthusiasts from San Diego to Long Island. And that's exciting."
The Albuquerque manufacturing facility is Sennheiser's fourth, complementing two plants in Germany and one in Ireland. It was officially unveiled last April. For more information, visit their web site at www.sennheiser.com.
