“Twangbucker” Pickup from Rio Grande

The new “Twangbucker” from Rio Grande satisfies
a need for guitarists who own Teles but want more versatility. The new Twangbucker
& bridge assembly give you plenty without sacrificing the total “Twang”
required by today's country, blues, rock and other purveyors of twang. This is
a doubling up of Rio Grandes Vintage Tallboy tele bridge pickup into a splittable
humbucking. With a push/pull pot or mini toggle a humbucking sound can be achieved
which will rival other HB’s out there. In addition in the straight single
coil tele mode you get the tones of Rio Grande’s Vintage Tallboy Tele bridge
pickup.
Rio Grande is offering the Twangbucker in five colors. Black (shown here),
white, creme, white pearloid, and brown tortoiseshell. This pickup is designed
to fit most Tele style guitars. Does require some hidden routing. A template for
routing is included. Available through Rio Grande dealers worldwide.
