Sound Prophet Releases Sound Libraries for Proteus 2000
October 19, 2000Sound Prophet Sounds, a division of Sound Prophet Productions, has created a dynamic library of sounds for the Emu Proteus 2000 synthesizer. These patch banks range from 'Bread and Butter' to very 'Unique' sonic creations and powerful analog emulations.
The first in the series is "Proteus 2001". This bank is mainly fresh 'Bread & Butter' sounds including acoustic and electronic Pianos, Organs, Horns, Synths and Sound Effects. This bank will expand your sound arsenal.
"Complex Pads" is a specialty sound bank in that it contains only pads. Pads are used to create mood and music backgrounds. In this collection, the user can excite the listener with many original sounds and color.
The newest addition to the Sound Prophet Proteus 2000 library is "Synthetiks." Here you will find sonic testimony to the power of the Proteus 2000's synth architecture. This bank contains both Lead and Keyboard synthesizer sounds of digital and analog nature. The emulations of analog sounds are both convincing and player friendly. The use of the P2k's elaborate midi controller routing functions make these synth's come alive, with real-time filter, resonance and chorus control.
The Sound Prophet Proteus 2000 patch library is available to both Macintosh and IBM-PC compatable users. Each patch bank ships on a single (HD) floppy disk. (2DD) double-density
disks are available upon request.
