Ayotte Announces Travel Kit
 November 29, 2000Ayotte Drums has announced their new compact Travel Kit, a truly portable drum set.
The Ayotte Travel kit features a 16"x18 bass drum, 12"x 8 & 10"x 6 toms and a
13"x 5 snare (6-ply). The Travel Kit is available with either the
Ayotte WoodHoops or conventional SteelHoops. The drums can be
finished in any of Ayotte's lacquer finishes.
The Ayotte Travel Kit also features a big drum sound because the components
are in "real" drum sizes.
The front end of the bass drum is removable to allow the two toms to be
stored inside while transporting. Ayotte has installed a quick-release
fastening system that will not rattle if played with the front head
removed. A special "back pack" style drum bag is available.
This travel kit features a full-size 13" snare drum with 8 tension points....brush playing is much easier on a 13" than on a
12". For convenience, the 16" bass drum uses conventional tom heads.
