Washburn Releases New Acoustic Guitar PackagePackage Will Include New D8 Model

August 29, 2000Washburn has a history of making great, affordable acoustic instruments such as the D10 - one of the world's best selling guitar. This year, Washburn was recognized for it's efforts by readers of Acoustic Guitar Magazine and was awarded their Player's Choice Award for steel string acoustics under $500. Continuing this tradition will be the Washburn D8, which will be available in a new acoustic guitar package, the D8K.
The D8 has many of the same features that made the D10 so popular, such as a spruce top, mahogany sides and back and lifetime warranty. The D8 also has a satin finish and capped tuners. The package also includes everything you need to get out and play with a padded gig bag, digital tuner, nylon guitar strap and guitar picks.
The D8K also comes with eMedia's "Guitar Method" CD-ROM. This computer-based tutorial is the most popular CD-ROM guitar lesson on the market.
