AudioRaid SCSI disk arrays are optimized to support the demands placed on storage systems by today's professional DAWs. Medéa's proprietary Audio Stripe Technology (AST) and integrated hardware RAID controller enable AudioRaid SCSI to support 64-tracks of 24-bit/96kHz audio in a single desktop unit. AudioRaid SCSI is equipped with an Ultra2 SCSI Low Voltage Differential (LVD) interface that allows SCSI cable lengths to 12 meters and burst data transfer rates up to 80 MB/second.
Working with AudioRaid SCSI is a breeze. The four-drive AudioRaid SCSI appears to the DAW as one large SCSI disk drive with a single SCSI ID.
