Original 1995 Kramer Guitars Discovered In the "Vault"

One-Time Sale at MusicYo.com

1995 Transparent Red Pacer
May 30, 2001

Through a special arrangement with Kramer, MusicYo.com announced the sale of a very limited number of original 1995 Kramer guitars recently discovered in the "vault" at Gibson Musical Instruments, the now parent company of Kramer Guitars.

Musicians everywhere now have the opportunity to own one of these vintage-1995 Kramer USA models "From the Kramer Vault" through this special offer. Completely original and made using some of the finest woods, hardware and electronics including Seymour Duncan pickups and Wilkinson USA tremolos, these guitars have been thoroughly cleaned, re-strung, set-up and tested to ensure "new" 1995 performance. Included with each is a Deluxe Kramer Gigbag.

The history of these collectible instruments is as interesting as the discovery. In the spring of 1995, some of the original Kramer visionaries formed Kramer Music Industries (KMI) with hopes of reviving the legendary Kramer name. Using classic Kramer guitar designs, they produced a small number of guitars in the original Kramer factory in Neptune, New Jersey. In January 1996, these guitars were introduced at the annual Winter NAMM Show in Anaheim, California to enthusiastic Kramer dealers and fans.

Unfortunately, these Kramer USA guitars never made it into the music stores and into the hands of the general public. Later that year, Gibson Musical Instruments purchased Kramer along with all its assets. As a result, these rare, "one-of-a-kind" instruments – the last ever produced in the original Kramer factory - were locked away in the Kramer vault at Gibson for over 5 years.

"If you’re a true Kramer fan, collector or just appreciate great instruments, these original 1995 ‘From the Kramer Vault’ instruments are a must for your collection. We only have a few and we're offering them ‘one at a time’. Once they’re gone... they’re gone forever," says MusicYo Product Specialist, Don Mitchell.

Kramer instruments are available and offered exclusively at www.MusicYo.com directly to consumers.
