Bertsch Electronics Announces DPR32 Hard Disk Recorder

May 18, 2001Bertsch Electronics Inc. has announced that it is now shipping their DPR32 multi-track hard disk recorder, offering the ability to record 32 tracks of audio in 24-bit, 96kHz format simultaneously and up to 64-tracks playback with 48kHz audio.
The DPR32 includes a built-in digital mixer that can be automated via MIDI. On-board processing includes 96 onboard dynamics
processors and 96 bands of EQ. Within the digital mixer, there are 32 compressors, 32 gates, 32 duckers/de-essers, and 32 three-band fully
parametric EQs that all run simultaneously.
Features of the DPR32 include the following:
- 32 track simultaneous linear record at 24 bit / 96k
- up to 64-track playback at 24-bit/48kHz
- Integrated studio quality 36 X 8 digital mixer, MIDI automatable
- Up to 3.9 hours of continuous 32 track recording at 24 bit / 96k
- 32 three-band EQ's, 32 gates, 32 comps, 32 duck /de-essers all simultaneous non-destructive editing and PC compatible archive
- 16 to 32 balanced analog inputs - DC coupled, TRS
